“ This place made me like fish which I didn't think was possible. Great live music too, had a really good time here. ”
“ Amazing little find just a teensy bit off the highway. It's in a strip mall, but do not be put off by its storefront. About as authentic a Mexican seafood place as you're likely to find outside of Mexico (so I was told by someone who knows better than me)! Even if it wasn't, it was definitely delicious! All the other reviews are right--great ceviche and awesome michelada! A single portion of ceviche was enough to share, came with crispy tostadas, and was light and refreshing. The devil shrimp was smokey and spicy without overwhelming the seafood. The place is clean and bright and homey, nothing fancy, but man, if the food doesn't transport you somewhere magical! Super friendly and helpful service. Will definitely be back! Can't wait to try the grilled pulpo! ”
“ Nice restaurant with decorative ceviche de camaron plate, very good serving. The michelada was good but but had a bit more clamato then I am accustomed too nevertheless a good way to calm the nerves. The waitress were excellent, courteous and prompt. I am glad to find this little food paradise. The prices are competitive considering this is the high desert, so don't expect the same prices like mariscos locations down the hill. I will definitely continue my patronage as a future customer. ”
“ Seafood in the middle of Victorville? No, really! This is one of those restaurants that you're always hoping you'll find. It's a small, casual Mexican restaurant making Sinaloan-style food -- lots of seafood. We were greeted as soon as we walked in, directed to a table, and made to feel right at home. Chips and salsa were on the table immediately and all questions were answered. One side of the menu is in Spanish and one side is in English, so no worries there. I ordered the garlic shrimp and the shrimp were cooked so perfectly they were sweet -- with plenty of garlic, too (and I love me some garlic!). The meal came with rice, tortillas, and a salad of lettuce, cucumber, and tomato. I chose a michelada which was delicious, the right blend of salty, sour, and spicy. My sweetie went with the Kaliman tacos: steak, shrimp, bacon, and cheese in a fried tortilla shell. If he had to come up with a taco combination that he found to be perfection, it would be this. He threatened to get a hotel in the area and spend the night, just so he could have more of these tacos the next day. Five stars for the great food and great service. I'm sure we'll be back. ”
“ Sometimes you have to dive deep to find the treasure. I dove and found the best seafood I've had in a very long time! Fresh, crisp, and full of flavor. I felt welcomed and at home with the service and would bring any of my visitors to the high desert here. The atmosphere is for large groups or a romantic dinner. You really can't go wrong dining here if you're a seafood lover! ”
“ Cheap eats, fresh seafood. $3.75 for fresh shrimp ceviche. Service was a little slow and the table that came in after us was served first. Their food was cooked, ours wasn't so I wasn't thrilled with that. But it was good and I'll be back. ”
“ Best shrimp tacos around.... Great service. The lady behind the counter went out of her way to make sure got what we wanted. ”
